Introducing Pastor Gary Sheesley

Pastor Gary Sheesley (59) and his wife Nancy “Nan” (58), were married in October of 1975 in the Parker UMC.

Together they share children Michael Sheesley (38)and Jodi Sheesley (36), both divorced. They are the grandparents of Jodi’s children Cassandra Baily (12) and Evan Steel (5).

Pastor Sheesley graduated from Purchase Line High School in Indiana County in 1973, and later graduated from Gateway Technical Institute in Pittsburgh in 1975.

He worked 24 years for Riverside Markets (Penn Traffic Co.) and three years in HVAC in the DuBois area.

Pastor Sheesley attended Glen Campbell UMC as a child and youth. He and Nan attended DuBois First UMC from 1982 until 2002.

His resume includes: Lay speaker from 1997 until 2002; Indiana District Lay Leader from 2000 until 2002; Served the Sigel Charge from 2002 until 2010; Served Duke Center UMC from 2010 until present; and he completed three years as a volunteer at FCI McKean doing Disciple Bible Study.
